Who knows a GOOD website that I- a freshman in high school this year- can be prepared into the becoming of a Psychologist?
I need to know if there is some sort of training facility online, so I can be prepared and gradually learn new things. I also need to know what classes I should take that would help, like maybe give me some essential knowledge of Psychology. I’m very serious about this, and I just recently turned 14 but most people say I’m very mature for my age, and I also make good grades in school, so maybe that can help me in some way? Please help, as I have just explained- I am taking this seriously and WANT to learn more.

You need a PhD to become a psychologist. Which is many many years away. You can take basic psychology classes I guess, it isnt going to help much, because you’re going to be taking those classes in undergrad any ways. You dont even necessarily have to be a psychology major to do a PhD in psychology. Honestly, psychology classes are going to be the least of your worries. Writing, statistics and research is what you want to get good at. Right now, focus on getting into a good undergraduate program. The better the program, the better your chances are of getting into a good graduate program. So good grades, good writing skills, extracurricular activities, leadership skills, and of course good SATs. Focus on those for now. There’s not much else you can do at this point to help you with becoming a psychologist.
