How do you keep your mouth closed when u are asleep ?I do it a lot and get soar or dry throat!does a fan or ac make it worse?
Do you have a deviated septum? My wife likes those "breath right" strips and finds that it allows her to breath through her nose at night.
After sleeping on my back for over 40 years a few years ago I tried sleeping on my tummy and discovered that I sleep much better and awaken much more rested. I don't think I snore at all this way. You might give that a try.
Air conditioners make the air dryer so they can make your sore throat worse; a fan can as well. You might try a humidifier though.
If you sleep with your mouth open, you are also more likely to snore!
If you want to keep it closed, try propping a small pillow or a soft, wadded-up towel or something under your chin. It's hardest to keep your mouth closed if you sleep on your back, and a lot easier if you sleep on your side.
