Does olive oil have high fats in it?

Answer #1

yes

Answer #2

Yes, but if it’s virgin or something of that sort, they’re not bad for you if eaten in moderation.

Answer #3

Yes, it is high in fat, but those fats are known as monounsaturated fats. These fats are used as fuel and aid in fat-burn.

In the fitness world, olive oil is considered one of the most important oils to cook with since it is rich in this type of fat. In almost all of my meals, including salads, I use a spoon of olive oil, or spray-on olive oil.

As with anything, consumption in moderation is the key and can aid in fat-burn, but too much and you’ll be more likely to hold onto those grams of fat.

Answer #4

oil=fat, even if it says “no trans fat”
