You don't have skunks? Hmmm, I don't know how to describe it. It's a foul odor unlike any other. It's not like p.oo.p or d.ea.d bodies (random periods on purpose so this would post). It may be equated to really badly rotting food, but it would half to be the right foods. You're science minded, so some guy said it was the "result of the sulfurous chemicals, methyl and butyl thiols, contained within the skunk's [rear] glands." (http://funadvice.com/r/3k0s6o8f17) It's just a bad bad odor and it's impossible to get rid of. You can smell it from miles away, and it's just horrid, really.
I don't have pets myself, but my mother-in-law has two Great Danes and one chihuahua mix that smell dreadful after being out in the Oklahoma sun for more than 5 minutes. They've tried everything in the world to get rid of the odor, and what they do now is give them a bath in some solution that is meant to remove skunk spray. Somehow that neutralizes the funk and helps them stay okay smelling for a week or two. They have some Febreeze pet odor spray to use as a touch up out in the dog room, but the skunk bath is their main solution, after much trial and error.
well I dont know about ones for pets but oust is pretty good for eliminating the odour of my boyfriends feet! There is one called clear the air or something which seems pretty good because it comes in different varieties depending on the odour you are trying to get rid of
Nope, never seen one in my life! Aside from the introduced farm animals and pets and stuff we only have birds here. Oh, and one species of bat which is our only native mammal
lysol or febreze.. or u could bathe em.. lol..
kinda random but what do skunks smell like?
