Nuva Ring & Depo

I Am 30 Years Old, And I Just Got Off Of The Depo Pro Vera Shot I Have Been On In For At Least 7yrs, Because It Makes Me Gain Weight, So I Switched To The Nuva Ring, Cause I Thought It Would Be So Much Easier, And It Wouldn’t Make Me Gain Weight, Well In About The First Week Of Using It, It Came Out While Me and My Boyfriend Were Doing Our Thing, It Was Only Out For A Few Seconds I Put It Back In, And We Continued, The Second Time It Fell Out Again, Weather It Was From Him Pulling Out, Or What But It Was Again For A Few Seconds And We Weren’t Sure As Far As What Part Of The Process It Came Out, So I Am Really Scared That I Could Be Pregnant, But After I Took The Ring Out Like I Was Supposed Too I Would Wait For A Week And My Period Would Start, Well Since Being On The Depo For So Long It Hasn’t Started Yet, So What I Am Trying To Figure Out Is If I Am Pregnant Or If Being On The Depo For So Long That It Will Take A While For It Regulate Again, I Am Also Thinking Of Going Back On The Depo Only Because I Know It Is Much Safer For Me And I Know The Side Effects and Such. It Takes Only A Year After Getting Off The Depo To Get Pregnant But I Am Just Wondering Since I Was On The Nuva Ring, If It Overlaps It

Yeah Sounds Good~I Totally Hear You About The Nuva Ring, I Am Thinking Kinda About Getting A IUD, Too, Went To The Doctors Today And Said I Wasn’t Pregnant, And She Said Since The Ring Was Out For A Few Seconds I Was Okay, And Basically Said If The Ring Was Out For More Then 3hrs Then Start Worrying About It

Nuva ring is the WORST birth control you can get. It has the highest failure rate. I would reccomend the pill or an IUD or something along those lines.

I dont think so. Im on depo and my doctor told me since I have been on the depo for a long time it will take a while after I get off to get preg. Then she told me it could be a possibity that I couldnt get preg as well. That is a effect of depo it shortens the lining of something I cant recall.
