Is it normal when I relax my eyes they begin to cross and my eyesight goes blurry?

Answer #1

Oh I think it’s different for everyone. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Answer #2

Some people have what they call lazy eye and there are excercises you can do to correct it. Your eye doctor would know.

Answer #3

The ability for your eyes to work together is called “teaming” by optometrists. It sounds like you have some weakness in this area. Your optometrist may prescribe exercises to help. There is surgery to equalize the strength of the eye muscles to improve teaming but it doesn’t sound like your problem is bad enough to require this.

Yeah I have the same problem, and it IS caused by my lazy eye, even though I had surgery to fix it, it wanders occasionally. I did “vision therapy” as a kid a wore glasses for a while to keep the problem in check.
