Is it normal to be dizzy after exercise?

Answer #1

Ok so I was bellydancing some minutes ago then my bro called me to watch something on tv. while I was walking I felt ok. so when I get to mah bro I feel dizzy and like imma bout to fall down. So I say mmkay and leave. I still felt dizzy as I was walking and made it to my bed before I fell down. After some secs I meditated and the falling down feeling stopped but im dizzy. Normal or not normal. Also mah mum has high blood pressure and takes Meg’s which make her dizzy. Could I be like that?

Answer #2

Answer #3

Yes it is, esp if your not taking enough calories in each day and eating properly. I get dizzy a lot after working out and just wanna fall over.

Answer #4

Blood pressure fluctuation is a definate factor in being dizzy and or passing out. With your mom’s history, I would check with your doctor about the symptoms your having.

Answer #5

Like Marisha said, blood pressure fluctuations come into play, but another factor is breathing correctly. I get really dizzy, almost to the point of falling down every single time I perform a Deadlift near my 1-rep max because I hold my breath instead of breathing and allowing oxygen to flow through me.

If it’s happened once or twice and it was just from something like incorrectly breathing or really rapid fluctuation due to really intense exercise straight to no exercise, then it’s pretty common. If it happens unexpectedly and a lot and you feel you might hurt yourself, then go see a physician or tell your mom.

Answer #6

Physical exertion often causes a sharp increase of endorphins in your bloodstream, in order to ease your consciousness through the shock of the immediate adaptive muscle response involved in repetitive flexing and straining. I noticed this at my last job and I loved it, I was addicted to work because of it in fact lol. The word endorphine literally means internal morphine. So in that case working out, distance running/jogging or any other kind of taxing exertion will in most cases get you high on your own body chemicals lol.

Answer #7

Of course its not actually Morphine coursing through your system, but the chemicals are very morphine-like in their psychoactive effects.
