Well if your looking for mountains id say go to Oregon, because there is beautiful remote places in parts of oregon, but I seriously would consider Alaska, we have Mt. Mckinely which is the largest peak in the US, and if you stay in the southern part of Alaska there is mountains in 360 view. Also fishing up here is amazing catching 50 pound fish is awesome, and if your into hikes or just siteseeing there are tons of oppurtunities
My boyfriend and I were thinking of going on a road trip sometime soon this year or the next (to save money), and we were lost when I asked where we should go. We are from Tennessee and we are tired of the east. We both would like to head west somewhere. We don't want to go to California or to any beach. We would both enjoy a mountain area, or somewhere breathtaking with also lots of things to do. Any ideas?
it depends on where you are, and what you like, if you like busy fun world type places the florda area is for you, but if you want more remote places to just relax and get away from the city come to alaska, its amazing and beautiful, and warm right now :)
I'm with jaes on this one. I just got back from Alaska and it was beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. It wasnt as cold as I expected (having never seen snow, it was pretty awesome too). I've heard the vermont area is beautiful too.
