new driving law?

are they trying to make a new law saying kids cant drive until they are 18?? I heard this and I think its stupid becasue kids go t ocollege at 18 and it is too hard having them leaving home for the first time and learning how to drive and beiong alone and everything. has anyone heard about this? are they aeriously considering it and what are your thoughts on it?

omg, yes I’ve heard. IT IS STUPID. I mean, not every kid does stupid stuff, I mean take me for example. I am a great kid, I don’t lie, cheat, or steal and I do a great job in school. I mean, god, shouldn’t kids like me at least get a little reward in life!

I know! I think it should be a case by case basis, like each kid goes and gets evaluated and then they tester can say “okay, come back in 3 months youre not ready yet” I think its dumb to wait so long because kids are leaving for college and stuff theyshould already at least be able to kind of drive!

most states have made that a law already. they are also making you have more hours behind the wheel. I personaly didnt get my lisense until I was 23 bc of the teenage drivers and adults who dont drive by the rules of the road. I have seen to many deaths and accidents due to drivers under the age of 18. I understand that many teens are able to drive without distractions and will not drive reckless but there are too many who take advantage of the freedom it gives. I believe they should also keep the drinking age at 18 except for those in the service.
