What is the big difference between a canadian and a u.s citizen?

Answer #1

^^^ hahahaha yeah great perpetuate more stereotypes. whyontchu just say that all canucks live in igloos and have pet penguins and we play hockey all day and eat poutine and maple syrup? youre a moron. you cant define a country by something as simple as speech inflection. I’ve worked on the telephones for the last 10 years calling countries all around the world and contrary to popular belief canadians dont pronounce things like abooot (about)and currs (cars) and unless you go to the valley youre not apt to find many people who say eh. for the most part I find the people who do do this are generally immigrants who do so thinking they will “fit in”. you want the difference between canadians and americans? here it is. geographical location. for the most part we watch the same shows, listen to the same music, have the same apparel, etc. yeah theres minor differences and yes I’ll definately agree with steph about hating being confused with each other. if Im mistaken for an american I will adamantly proclaim that Im a canadian and we are a peaceful country and a lot more tolerant. (truth is, theres ignorance everywhere, but I say it more for my own benefit) were all heavily influenced by the same media but we have different governments and a different social structure. if you really want to further define people try talking to different people from these countries.
