What's the difference between the colonists and patriots??

Iam doing a project on the writs of assistance. I need a poster too.. Any ideas?

I think the question you mean to ask is what is the different between LOYALISTS and patriots. They were both groups of colonists. Loyalists were colonists who trusted in England, and believed that what England was doing didn’t call for boycotts or protests. Patriots were colonists who believed that the colonies should have freedom, and should only tax themselves, and not be taxed by England. The Patriots fought against England in an attempt to get them to stop taxing. (Like the boston tea party.) What kind of poster do you have to do?
