My Weight, But This Is What People Are Saying...

I am 266 pds, and 6’1” tall. I uswed to be fat, really fat. One of my friend’s told me last year it was noticable that I was fat, but now he said that I look normal, but I didn’t change much in my diet, what’s a good explaination for this? I am 17 years old, could it be that my muscles are growing faster, or something else?

(To make your awnser better, heres my discription… I have tummy fat, and hip fat, soem fat around my legs, but my legs are my most powerful muscles I have ((Or so I believe)) )

Hey there well about a year ago I was 5’7 weighing in at 230 lbs. Now I am 5’8 180 lbs. I lost wieght by starving myself I know not good, but I did. I told myself to be within the normal range in the bms scale. If you are 6’1 weighing at 266, it doesn’t sound like a very healthy lifestyle. I mean its a great thing u lost weight, so I’m not going to stress it out, cuz u are on the right track. Seriously keep on losing weight. You are doing great. Why look normal when u could look fabulous!!! It also depends on ur personal feeling if ur happy with yourself then stay where u are at. But in my opinion your weight should be around 220 or so. I’m supposed to weigh 165 to 170. And I’m obviously over 170. So I mean keep on doing whatever you did, and you will feel the greatest difference in your body :)

Weight loss and weight gain don’t only depend on diet, but also on exercise, stress, general lifestyle, etc. - and especially on the whole hormonal mess that’s going on in the teen years :) Some people lose a lot of weight during puberty, some gain a lot, some fluctuate for no apparent reason. You’re just growing up and your body is trying to find its balance. If you eat healthy and exercise, you’ll be fine. Plus, if your friend tells you that you look normal, what’s the problem?
