Can I try to shampoo it again with a dark blond?

I bought a “shampoo” dark ash blond at walmart; but it came out a weird color, can I try to shampoo it again with a dark blond? And how soon can a dye it again? Thank you!

You bought a blonde SHAMPOO? Shampoo isn’t going to color your hair.. No matter how many times you wash your hair with it. Those types of shampoos are to ENHANCE your hair color, not change it. Therefore, that shampoo you bought would only work for someone who ALREADY has “‘dark ash blond”‘ hair.

^I’m with her. Don’t try to color your hair with so-called “coloring” shampoos again. I wouldn’t trust them.

If you want to change your hair color, buy a simple dye kit with dye that has no ammonia :) They have a lot at Sally’s beauty supply.

And to help your color stay in, buy a shampoo that doesn’t contain ANY SULFATES (sodium laureth sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate, any kind of SULFATE). This will dry out your hair and wear your color down. It’s in most shampoo…Herbal Essences, Dove, V05, TRESemme, Suave, Pantene…even so called “good” shampoos like Nexxus and Biolage. Giovanni or Say Yes to Carrots (or Tomatoes or Cucumbers) are sulfate-free. They’re available at drugstores. Health food stores and Vitamin Shoppe also have nice, natural shampoos.
