Why was I so upset from my ex's accident?

My ex-boyfriend was in a snowmoblie accident this past Friday. He broke his back and will be in the hospital for a few weeks. When I found out what happened to him I just started crying and I don’t know why I did. We only dated for a month and it wasn’t that serious but for some reason I just started crying. When I went up and saw him at the hospital after I left his room, I started to cry again. I don’t really have feelings for him. I only see him as a friend and nothing more. I’m wondering why did I cry when I found out and saw him when I don’t really have feelings for him?

Theres feelings for him just not really romantic. You could love him and see him as a friend greatly and dont like seeing him like that. Its perfectly fine to cry, girls are like that we just get really emotional over stuff.

obviously you DO have feelings for him, even if it isn’t romantic feelings. You’re a human being and what has happened to him is pretty tragic. He could have been killed. Follow your human instinct and be supportive of him. It will be hard for him while he heals.

Becos you care about him regardless how…….you may not have romantic feelings for him but you care about him enough to not want to see him hurting and in pain! so theres nothing wrong with you crying.

This is the time when you can show (mainly to yourself) how you can side with your good friend when he is in trouble.
