My chihuahua won't pee or poop. AT ALL

I just got a 6 month old chihuahua who has peed and pooped only twice since I got her 36 hours ago. She was pooping blood but we got Albon in case it was parasites and not stress. She eats when we hand feed her and drinks (minimally) on her own. I take her on walks all the time but she never pees or poops. I’m really worried about her. She seems happy and playful with a lot of energy but shouldn’t she be peeing all the time? Thats what our first dog did.

first remember what goes in must come out, so if she is not eating or drinking then I would not worry about the potting as much as why she is not eating or drinking. My first instinct and thought to this quesiont is If she is a new dog to you, you need to take her the the vet for a good check up and exam. Do a stool check. Not every dewomer takes care of all parasites, The vet needs to see what type of parasite eggs are in her stool to be able to treat her. And blood could mean many things, she ate something she was not supposed to and it is stuck, parvo, parasites, UTI, So please these little guys can crash fast, take her to the vet.

I would take her to the vet. Blood in the poop could be coccydia, parvo, or a number of other issues. And not urinating at all is a huge warning sign of feeling sick. Go get the little dudette checked :)

She doesnt pee at all? That doesnt sound good… generally it is a sign of sickness… are you sure she’s not peeing in the house somewhere?
