I would say it is bcause you had just recently been pregnant and your breast have been stimulated to give milk, and if you are using anIUD it could trick your body into thinking that you are pregnant again. Although, I always lactated for about a year and a half after each of my children were born. I could be in a grocery store and hear a baby cry, a year after my babies were weined, and my milk still dropped. its just the way our bodies work. Instinctal for sure!!!

If the tests say you are not pregnant you’re probably not. Milk ejection usually occurs when touch receptors in the nipple are stimulated so it may just be to do with that, especially since you have been pregnant relatively recently. Cant hurt to ask a doctor about it though in case it is something else and also to confirm that the negative response to the pregnancy tests were accurate.

Its funny, my lecturers are always telling me women dont lactate while they are pregnant because of high progesterone levels but so many women say they do. Probably because my lecturers are all men, haha.

If you were pregnant, you would be at least 8 weeks along if you were. From what I read 8 weeks is very early for milk production. Breasts can still produce milk months after a baby stops breastfeeding, so your situation is a little different. If your pregnancy tests came back negative, I doubt you are, but it’s better to be sure by going to your doctor to get a blood test, or to see if there are any other reasons for your lactation.
