My beardie is changing colour

My baby female beardie is eating now and seems to be doing well apart from the fact that she is changing colour. She is a citrus (a yellow colour) beardie but seems to have changed to a more black/grey colour. I’m a little worried. Could anyone help. Thanks

Bearded dragons change colors for two primary reasons, in response to stress or fear, or to help regulate their body temperatures. Turning a darker color may mean that they are cold, as turning a darker color helps absorb more sunlight in the wild. It could also be stress, either from an illness or in response to a new environment.

If your beardie does not appear to be acting sick or strange, and is eating well, she’s probably just chilly and too lazy to move to a warmer part of the cage, which is nothing to worry about. If she begins acting odd, take her to a vet.

Maybe thats just what they go through when thry’re babies. My birdie is yellow as well, but its kinda blue under its belly. Wait a while ans see, if you think she is getting sick just take her to a vet to get a check up.
