MP3 player

how do you download music onto a Sansa clip MP3 player?? I have nooo clue what to do

Answer #1

Usually, once you plug in the MP3 player, your computer will recognize something is in the USB port and try to install the required software automatically. Depending on the MP3 player, you add music either by copying the songs to the drive, or by copying them to a program that came with the player.

Check that the SanDisk Sansa has at least a 25 per cent battery charge before attempting to transfer media to the device. Review the battery icon in the top of the Sansa device’s LCD display. If the device needs charging, connect it to its charging cable and plug the charger into an electric outlet. 2

Verify that a microSD memory card is inserted into the side of the Sansa player if you use a memory card. A memory card can expand your MP3 player’s original capacity. 3

Connect the SanDisk Sansa MP3 player to your computer using its included USB cable. Insert the mini-USB end into the bottom of the Sansa. Plug the opposite end into an open port on your PC. 4

Select “My Computer” in the “Start” menu of your Windows PC to review a list of your drives. A temporary drive for the SanDisk Sansa player will appear alongside your standard C:// drive. Double-click it to open. 5

Drag your music files to the Sansa folder. Your computer will download the songs onto the Sansa device. This process may take several minutes depending on the speed of your computer processor and the number of songs you are transferring. 6

Transfer music playlists to organize your individual MP3 files. Launch Windows Media Player. Click the “Synch” tab and press “Set Up.” Click “Automatic Synch.” Choose a playlist that you’ve created. The software will automatically download the playlist onto the MP3 player. 7

Right-click the temporary Sansa drive in “My Computer” to eject upon completion.
