Is it just me or is almost with every movie people are always looking for something to bitch and criticize about it?

Different people have different tastes. I watch a ton of movies and I love watching movies, but very rarely am I 100% satisfied with a movie; there is almost always something I notice or make fun of. However, negative reviews and criticism are what people find most interesting and what people believe are the most fun to write. Something about people makes them take a certain joy in seeing cleverly written negative reviews of one thing or another. Positive reviews are out there though, no movie makes it big without some good reviews backing it. Check sites like rottentomatoes.com or the newspapers, I find that the critics there are more honest as opposed to just trying to generate site traffic by bashing a movie.

i will often critique movies i watch because there are just so many crap movies that are made. I have quite a high expectations of a movie, i am paying for it afterall. If a movie disappoints me, i will have very specific reasons as to why i didnt like it which i think is better than just saying its rubbish with no justification. On the other hand, if i really like a movie and i find it entertaining, i will tend to overlook the little things because overall, it served its purpose.
