Its an empty motto. There is no hope in the stars. The stars do nothing to give hope. They look pretty and can tell you where you are, but that’s about it. You can put hope in a country, in an idea, in God, in your bank account, but the stars do nothing.

It sounds too complicated to be a good motto. It’s a great short poem, but motto… no, I don’t think so. Motto should be nicely summed up like my favorite: “If there is no wind - row!”

why take it so literaly? I mean the stars can mean (beyond, look to the futre, look ahead ect.

Well to me there is no hope in GOD xD god is just a figment of ur imagination :)
