how much do you think is too much?
I'm talking in NZ $ here, so if you want, you could translate it to your country's currency. I shop for clothes a lot, but that's because it's pretty much the only thing I spend my spending money on. When bills and stuff are paid, some people spend their left over spending money on going out to dinner, partying, alcohol and cigarettes, movies, concerts etc, I only spend mine on clothes and shoes. I'd say I spend about $300-$400 a month on clothes, I don't buy shoes a lot but when I do they cost me about $100 a pair, I don't really buy expensive shoes because I am quite rough on shoes and often run in heels which wears them out (not like, go for a run haha, I just walk really fast and often run accross the street to see someone, or skip to another street to find a shop, etc, I just move fast lol). I buy mostly tops and dresses because I have a denim shorts business where I can just take what I want for myself without having to pay lol. I LOVE opshopping (thrifting) as well and often find bargains for myself and my mum and sister, or if I see a bargain that's too small/big not my style, I sell it online for like triple what I paid then go shopping with my profits haha! But yeah I love shopping.
It depends, if I go just for fun, I try to spend less than $100. If I go because I need clothes and shoes for a certain amount of time, then I am willing to spend up to $200. I think that for people that are always going to the mall and spending more than $200 per vistit is too much, again depending on what you are buying. Like people just don't need that much money in clothes and shoes. For people who go every now and then I think it's ok to spend a fair amount since you probobly wont be going for some time...
On clothes I'd say around 40. For shoes it's never over $30. I lke to find bargains and go from thirft store to thrift store. I'd say spending over 10 bucks for a shirt is not worth it. A jacket should not be bought unless it's below 30, and pants should not be over 25. :) I'm a cheapo.
last time i got to go to a mall i put out about $1200 on clothes and accessories $1700 if you include the computer I'm on but then again i live in a small town with out any malls or really anywhere to shop so ppl save up lotsa money when they're going downsouth
When I really mean shopping, I could take up to 200 us dollars. It might not sound alot there in USA, but in my country it is huge since a piece of jeans will cost you 10 to 20 dolars :)
i haven't went clothes shopping in like a year lol
