How can I get my mom to work out with me and lose weight?

when i ask her to go for a walk she says no?

tell her in advance so she cant use bein busy as an excuse.

Well keep in mind it’s her life and maybe she just wants to relax. Ask her if she wants to lose weight and if she tells you yes then help motivate her and like roealyn said plan it in advance.

You can provide her with somebooks or video on how immportant to keep ideal wieght is. And most importantly, tell her how much you love her and you want to stay with her as long as possible…. maybe you should offer her a reward too :)

To be honest, you cant really do anything…If she isnt willing to make the first move, no matter how often you mention it, push her at it, show her written material about it…she will find some sort of excuse to delay it. My best advice to you is as follows…

  1. Begin your own journey..make a list for yourself of what you want to do for you…
  2. while you are doing it, come talk to her about how great you feel and how it would have been more fun if she just kept you company, without mentioning her weight or need for joining you.
  3. If she has a great time, that will motivate her into doing it with you.

All you can do is hope that with your journey she gets that motivation & does it for her reasons, not by force…in due time. It can only come from her…so be patient, but dont expect anything to change.
