memorization

I have to have a sonnet memorized by monday I have tired and tired but it wont stick in my brain! and like I am normally excellent and memorization but this is like impossible any tips!!! :D pls help!

oooh I had the same problem last year!

I took a printed copy of what I need to memorize and then I’ll read a line, hid the paper and try to recite it, once I can I got the the next line but repeat the whole thing, etc till its done…
