Medical school preperation

I want to become a doctor when I’m older.I’m 13 years of age.I’m in 8th grade and want to know how can I prepare for medical school?What should I do?

go onto the AMCAS website for american medical schools/application/info and the OMCAS website for the ontario medical schools info

just google those acronyms and you’ll find the official sites…a great place to begin your research…loads of info…dont’ get overwhelmed…

btw, I got into med school and I will begin in january

Right now all you can do is try to get into the best undergraduate program possible… So once you get to high school, keep your grades up, work on your SATs, take AP classes (bio and chem tend to help here), volunteer, extra curricular activities etc etc…

Once you get into an undergrad program, you enroll as pre-med, so you take all the pre requirements, can shadow a doctor, volunteer, extra curricular activities, good grades and GMATs important ofcourse… but once you actually get into the school, this will all be laid out for you (they help you build this all up)
