Make up help!
In the morning when I put my make up on for school it’s perfect - thing is it doesn’t stay like that very long! At the end of the day my face looks awful!! I don’t take my make up to school because I don’t really have time and there is never any free space! How can I make it stay reasonably ok the whole day - it’s really annoying when in my last lesson I sit by a certain someone! Lol! I have very oily skin which doesn’t help either! Also - ny hair is oily too and at the moment I am washing it everyday which isn’t good! How can I make it stay nice for longer- I try to keep it out of my face! Your help would be much appreciated!
Even though your skin is oily you still need to moisturize. Find one that is made for your skin type. They make a primer that you put on very lightly before you put your foundation on that helps keep your foundation looking fresh. You also might want to try some of the mineral makeup. Also get some blotters. It is a thin piece of tissue that you pat your face with during the day to absorb the oil.
And as someone else said, less is more.
hair- put simple pins in to hold the hair back… hairspray Makeup- make sure face is clean before putting makeup on and maybe look for makeup that focuses in on long lasting
You need to buy some oil-control makeup. I have very oily skin and it helps with mine. Covergirl sells a whole line of oil-control makeup.
Make sure you are using an oil-free moisturizer, a foundation made for oily skin and a pressed powder to tone down the sheen.
The trick - less is better…if you put a lot of makeup on, you’re destined for makeup meltdown. A light layer of makeup will hold up well.
Keep just a compact of pressed powder with you, so that when you take breaks you can just dust a little on to keep you looking fresh - you don’t need to re-apply all your makeup.
