Which one shall I get - a Macaw, an African Grey or an Amazon Parrot?

I depends. African Greys are one man birds, so are macaws, which means hat if you have other family members they might not like them or they might end up preferring another family member to you. Amazon Parrots are more family birds, so they are better if you have lots of people living with you and should get along with everyone. In terms of cost, I believe that the Macaw would be very expensive. African greys are amazon parrots are less expensive. Then also consider lifespan. Macaws and African Grey generally live very long (The ones I know around 30 - 40 years). My aunts Amazon was about 20 years. So it’s a lifetime obligation, remember that, you are 18 now, in a few years it might not interest you anymore and then you’ll have to find a new home for it, which is cruel to the poor animal.

As for in terms of Speaking the African grey and Macaw has the widest vocabulary, the amazon not so much.

Before getting any of those birds I would make sure you can tolerate the noise, they are kinda loud, with the macaw being the loudest. Other wise I agre with what Irene has said. Just be sure you want the bird before you get it. Good luck to ya
