Lump on neck, what could this be?

A couple of days ago I found two lumps on the right side of my neck towards the back. My mum has just had chicken pox, and apparently your glands swell up just before you get them. I haven’t had the pox yet, so could it be that? Another suggestion could be cancer, but I doubt it because its so near my glands, and I haven’t been feeling 100%. My friend said it could just be adolescence, like all my hormones and everything, changing my body. What do you think it is? The lumps are a bit bigger than pea size, and don’t hurt. I’m going to get it checked out at the doctors in a couple of days if they haven’t gone down or anything like that. Could someone tell me the details of Chicken Pox please? I have no idea what it is, maybe its just swollen glands. Or could it be tonsilitus? (however you spell it) Thanks a lot. =]

I would suggest its chiken pox but it depends if you have had it before, maybe it could be mumps?? I hear its where you get lumps on your gland area and it swells really bad. but tbh , I doubt its cancer, and you havent been feeling 100% and you can get chicken pox twice :) hope this helps
