Love/hate... Confused

I forgot to add that I am 13 and he just turned 17 so my friends that that hes just gonna use me so that’s part of the reason why I did what I did.

Anyways

I was with this guy all last summer. We were one of those couples that everyone thought would last long and they knew not to fu<k with us. When school started up I felt a distance between us and I confronted him. He decided that we not date because we hardly ever got to see each other since he is in high school and I am in jr. High. I faked it and pretended like it was okay because I truly love him. It didn’t make since because when we couldn’t see each other during the summer we would still sneak out just to spend time together.

Last week he claimed to miss me like crazy and asked me to be his again. Of course I said yes, but I was shocked because he was flirting with my friend the day before. I broke up with him today because I didn’t feel the connection that we once had. I didn’t feel the love although I know that I love him very much. I now regret it… 5 hours and 43 minutes later. I need help on what to do and how to explain to him.
