Most are OK to use for as long as there is any left.
The exception is sun blocking creams & lotions. They do normally carry a use by date, and although it is not really dangerous to use them after that date, they may not provide as much protection from the sun as they were designed to give.
Let's say you bought a bottle of sun block last year but it didn't get used. You take it on holiday next year and use it thinking it would protect your skin from the harmful rays in the strong midday sun. You may find later that your skin was completely unprotected and damaged - perhaps even so much as to cause skin cancer later in life.

yes pretty much everything expires, mascara's, blushers even the brushes and applicators should be binned after a few months. theres usualy a little icon the bottle/packaging its a little rouind tub with a number in- this tells you how long the product is safe and at it;s best for. usually i would agree with above and say 12 months.
The moisturizer that I'm using at the moment has an expiration date of 1 year ish. I think it will just depend on what the product is made of. If there is a specific expiration date, the packaging and writing (date) will be clear. If you cannot find a date, I'd throw it out after 1-2 years. Just to be safe.
They reckon sun tan lotions should be discarded after a year as they become ineffective. Its not hygenic to use an open bottle for more than a year or so, bacteria gets in. Same with make up
Lol, I was wondering because I ran out of the stuff I've been using, and used some stuff I've had for about a year. It's not the SPF kind, though so I think I'm good.
nope they do not, but personally I would not want to put 10 year old lotion on my skin (: lol
I don't think so unless you leave it open and it dries up .
