Lip piercing to morrow

Okay, well I’ve decided to get my lip pierced to morrow, does it hurt when the needle goes thru? Is the needle really thick? Do all places have numbing stuff just incase somebody wnts numbing?, how can I pick the guts up to walk in there, I always seem to get to town and than be like ok lets walk round town instead of getting it done. And how do I care for it after? And will it swell really bad? And if it does how can I stop ti from hurting? Thanks

-It’s going to hurt - but not a lot. I’ve never seen anyone pass out from a lip piercing in our shop before, it’s worth the pain, and it only last a minute

-The needle is a little thicker than the piece of jewelry they are putting in - you will be fine - dont worry about the needle.

-Not all places offer to numb the area for you - in fact most places dont even bother. You can always ask them and see if they offer it though

-If you want the piercing that bad - you will get up the guys to get it. The pain only last a mintute and then you have your piercing.

-To care for it after - clean it every time you eat something and 3 times a day with sea salt water (you can also buy the H2ocean spray that they sell). Do not change the piercing for 3 months - you can cause an infection or rejection if you change it too soon. Do not touch or play with the piercing with your dirty hands or let anyone else touch it.

-It does not swell bad at all - you wont even notice the swelling.

-You can put ice on the piercing to stop the pain.

I would be extremely careful with kissing atleast the first month. You do not want bacteria to get in the piercing. As for oral - wait a month before you do anything.
