I am addicted to lieing I try real hard but its so hard I need to stop any help
Fau you probably will never stop completely but if you stop putting yourself in positions or creating situations that you know are wrong, instead of just saying f-t and doing it anyway. Because it you are anything like I was at one time where I would do stuff that I knew was wrong and someone would have their feelings hurt , or feel betrayed .Everyone tells lies it just that the majority of people tell what they feel is a white lie no harm no hurt so that's ok but it is still a lie no matter how you look at it .Some tell lies about themselves to feel more important to gain respect and just be better then you but when their found out they crumble and feel far worser then if they had been more truthful. My advice to you Fau is stop take a deep breath and ask yourself are you sure about what you do or say. So that way your not cheating yourself out of being a person of standing and not someone you can't trust. And I can't and won't say what you should do. First and foremost you and made the first step in changing the way you talk to others and if you continue it will get easier and easier until you get to where saying the truth is the easiest way. Because you are now not sabotaging yourself by doing things that you knew was wrong . Fear is one cause and their are many more reasons why we Lie. Just before you make a decision that you know has consequences if you do it . Stop, Breath and Listen to the person inside he always tells the truth because he only wants the best for you .Also shed the guilt and that ashamed look if you continue on the right path your self-esteem will grow and the stuff before will no longer be a part of your life anymore.
well you have to learn that some lies are okay but a lot of lies are not okay you have to tihnk about what the consequences would be and if you want those consequences. I lied for a while but now I learned how to think about what it is uim lying about before I do it.
