At first I thought this must be a joke but it seems legit.
It seems a group of conservatives wish to provide a translation of the Bible without what they consider to be liberal bias.
Is the King James Version of the Bible from 1600 really too liberal for modern society?
There are a lot of people who would like to change the bible to reflect their personal beliefs, rather than changing their beliefs to be in line with the bible.
Which is why there's so many different versions of the Bible. And it looks like there's yet another version on the way. I guess that ''pirate curse'' at the end of Revelation, is lacking potency...
I try to stay away from religion to be honest, I grew up christian, went to chruch, then this church dished out 15m to pay for a "estate", thats when I realized its all about the money, maybe in the past not, but now yes.
Just IMO.
And Fillet, yes. Everything is.
There are a lot of people who would like to change the bible to reflect their personal beliefs, rather than changing their beliefs to be in line with the bible. Yeah, they could want to do it. No, the bible is not too liberal - it is just not what they want it to be.

It always was.
Jeremiah 8:8 "How can you say, "We are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?"
Anything can be altered...this is just another example...lol conservative bible...what's next ' the bible for dummies'
I altered 'Gone with the Wind' in mine the South wins...
...I altered the FILM so it was in HD, Clark Gable DIDN'T have severe halitosis, and Vivien Leigh was less of a stuck-up b*itch.
