Yup, my mum knows nearly everyone in my town. It’s a small town. It was funny because I told my mum I started smoking and someone my mum knew seen me smoking and phoned my mum straight away. My mum doesn’t approve of some of the things I do but it’s better off me telling her than her hearing it from someone else.

The best thing I learned from my parents is that some things aren’t ever meant to be. Even if you spend your entire life dreaming about it, it might never happen. That’s why it’s better to just realize reality sooner than later.

My great grandma taught me that if you want to get married soon, you need to be tall. Boy, it’s a good thing I’m short. :D

How to end up with someone who is entirely wrong for you - and subsequently, how to avoid it! My parents marriage was a disaster (though they are both lovely people!) and my mothers second marriage was even worse. It taught me to be an excellent judge of character, and to never settle for someone who doesnt deserve you
