Diets depend so much on the individual, so its hard to say, but if its working, don't change anything!
Some "large-framed" people tend to have slower metabolisms, so they are more likely to store fat and keep it on. This means that you should be careful around simple carbohydrates. Don't eat too many of them and stay away from processed foods. Unfortunately bones don't burn any calories, so you won't be able to burn any extra that way.
In terms of exercise, high-impact activities such as running and jump-rope can be more strenuous. If you are doing these, be careful not to overdo it and stop if you feel any bad pain.
Larger framed people often carry more muscle than skinny people, and muscle weighs more than fat. Don't judge all your progress by the scale. The mirror and how you feel are more important indicators than how much you weigh.
I have one too :D. I am 5'8 and I look like a football player. Wide shoulders, wide hips. Not nessisarily "fat" or even "thick" just not a narrow body type like a runway model for example.
