Why has my laptop screen turned sideways?

Yesterday, I was trying to do an alt code, but my alt key was sticky, so I used the alt gr button. The screen went grey, then when I came back to my laptop the screen had turned sideways, so I have to hold it like a book. How can I put my screen back to normal?

Try Display> Settings> Advanced. Look for an option similar to “Rotate” or hold CTRL + ALT+UP

[Control Panel] [Display] [Change Display Settings] then alongside “Orientation” use the “drop down menu” box to select “Landscape” (instead of “Portrait” - which it appears you have inadvertently changed it to)
