Can you take photos/snapshots from a laptop's built-in webcam?
… or is it only for videos and communicating with people?
You can take snapshots with mine..I’m assuming they’re all the same.
You can usually take photos with it. If you find it in the Programs thing and then click on it, most webcams let you take photos, and then put borders on the photo or whatever.
You usually can and I can on mine. I have a hp pavilion and I have a button where I can access camera/video. Search around on your control panel!
Yes you can, just you may have to install a program for it. Mine came with a program I could use for that. But I use YouCam instead. You can download/buy that.
