Ohkay. So I don’t keep track of my period- Though I know when it’s going to come a few days before because I get horrible cramps and back pains. now, how does someone keep track of their period without depending on cramps before it actually arrives? ‘cause I’ve been seeing that everyone is saying “I’m one day late!” how do you keep track? D: help, please.. :D

hiyar I had the same problem to start with. try going to BeingGirl.com on there they have a calender where you type in the date of your last period and it can calculate when you will get it agiann in the months ahead

Every time I get my period, I mark it in the calendar in my phone. I do the same when it ends. Do it for a few months and you’ll notice a pattern. You’ll be able to predict the dates where your period might come (I don’t really care how long my periods are, as long as I get them, but I record them anyway to get an average idea).

Remember that if you’re young or that you just started to get your period, your period might not be regular and sometimes it disappears for months. It’s normal, because your body is still trying to regulate your body’s menstrual cycle. Some girls have irregular periods for most of their life. Everybody’s body works differently. Just make sure you understand how yours work.

Answer #3

I would do the same exact thing not keeping track of my periods when they come. I’ve been told to keep a calendar or some kind of chart to keep track of the periods. That might help for you. Try that and see what months you’re going to start. After you’re done, people would always tell me to count how many days until the next period on the calendar. I’m pretty guilty of that since I don’t keep a calendar to help me. But, you should definitely do that to keep yourself on track.

Answer #4

That’s from people with regulated periods - the average cycle is 28 days (counting from the first day of your last period). To know the length of your cycle you count the days from the first day of your last period to the next day you get your period. If you’re regulated it’ll be about the same days every time, it’s all about finding the length of your cycle. If this is confusing, FunMail me.

go to mymonthlycycles.com I’ve been in that online sit for about 4 years and its really helped a lot it has tons of cool stuff that help you track you period.. and basically anything related

Answer #6

what she said, lol. no, I don’t really keep track either…which is probably not the best way to go. you should at least have a general idea of how long your cycle is.

Answer #7

I actually thought that my cycle was irregular because it came on a different date every month (haha) until I started tracking it all the time and realized it was normal, I used www.bodytimer.com, I awlays forgot to put it into my outlook calendar, but the website has free reminders. hope that helps!
