What do you ask when you are job hunting?

You ask them if they are hiring, or taking applications. If they say yes, ask for an application.

After you fill out the application, take it back to them… along with a copy of your resume. Tell them you filled out an application, and you have a copy of your resume to give them.

That’s about it.

Dress nicely even when just taking in your resume. Go at a time when the business is not busy, and ask to see a manager or supervisor. You have a much better chance of getting an interview than by just leaving your application with an employee. If you can’t see a manager right then, ask for a good time to come back.

Also, after you leave your resume, make sure you call and ask if they had a chance to look it over. Always talk to the manager. If you hand it to an employee, they’ll just put it on the manager’s desk, giving you a slimmer chance of it being looked at.

Mainly just walk in and tell them about the job oportunity they where giving, and that you would like a chance at it. Give your application or whatever you have for them and go from there. After you live keep calling to ask them about it, this way they can see you really want this job and stuff. Be yourself when you go and give a good presentation, personality wise and clothing wise.
