Would Jesus have walked around or floated when he was alive?

THEORETICALLY, IF he lived, would he have walked around like a normal person, or floated? My friends and I are debating about this, lol. And don’t give me some answer like “OOH, yes :) Jesus was real! God exists and he loves us all :D” cuz that’s not what I’m looking for :P I’m just looking for your opinion- would he have floated, or walked?

Answer #1

floated coz that would be uber cool :D

E

Answer #2

I think he walked like a normal human.

Answer #3

Considering that jesus was supposed to be humble and a role model, theoretically i would assume he would walk like everyone else so he wouldnt seem better than anyone.

Answer #4

He walked around. The Bible has many stories specifying him having dirty feet from “walking” all around and he “walked” in the desert for numerous years so yeah, I’d guess he walked. Home I helped:D

Answer #5

The problem with historical figures who draw lots of followers is that those followers often embellish tales and stories about the person, which become infused with reality to create a myth, or legend. Jesus, assuming he was a real person (an assumption with a narrow amount of evidence) is an example of this. We already have written claims of him being able to walk on water, turn water into wine, heal sickness, drive out evil spirits, and raise people from the dead. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if somewhere, someone at some point in early Christian history made the claim that Jesus floated around. That person might have even witnessed Jesus floating around, after consuming a few helpings of Roman wine.

Answer #6

Jesus would have walked just like everybody else

Answer #7

the bible says they walked everywhere they went

Answer #8

He walked just like everybody else. He is still alive, you mean when he was in Earth?. He is in heaven now.

Answer #9

JESUS WOULD HAVE WALKED AROUND JUST AS HE DID IN THE BIBLE DAYS.

Answer #10

Jesus existed. Even scientists agree with that: there is more physical evidence that Jesus lived than there is for Julius Caesar - but no one debates him! So agreeing with the fact that he was a normal human, and for the bible mentioning Jesus having dirt on his feet, and considering him walking around in the desert for 40 days wearing his sandals, he walked like every normal human.

Answer #11

This is a false statement. Outside the Gospels, there is no evidence for the physical existence of Jesus. There are no contemporary Roman or Jewish records of Jesus, and the Gospels themselves were written, at the earliest, several decades after the presumed lifespan of Jesus by sources that were not personally acquainted with him. On that, scholars agree. Meanwhile, there are numerous contemporary records of Julius Caesar, from Ovid, Sallust, Nepos, Virgil, Plutarch, Appian, and others. There are over 900 preserved letters written about and by Caesar with Cicero. Those letters alone make the volume of evidence pointing to Julius Caesar’s existence more concrete than that of Jesus. Honestly, I place Jesus in the same category as King Arthur: a figure who may have existed, but whose life has been far too convoluted by myth to know for certain.

Answer #12

He would have turned rugs into magic carpets and road them around. I mean, he could turn water into wine right?

Answer #13

“Honestly, I place Jesus in the same category as King Arthur: a figure who may have existed, but whose life has been far too convoluted by myth to know for certain.” - That’s a good way to think on it. But, archaeologists have found a tomb which is likely to have belonged to Jesus and his family. And there are other artefacts which have been discovered. My mistake if my answer was false, but there is evidence (not concrete, but evidence) that points to Jesus being a walking, living, human.

Answer #14

If you’re referring to the Talbiot tomb, scholars and archaeologists have established there is no credible connection to Jesus or his family. There is no solid evidence anywhere for a tomb thought to have harboured the remains of Jesus Christ. The reality is, there is nothing referring to Jesus outside the Gospels, which themselves have been altered over hundreds of years. I am not saying Jesus never existed, only that records of his existence are compromised and skewed to the point that we cannot consider them historically reliable. If there was a Jesus, the facts of his life have been completely convoluted by myth.

Answer #15

I love you XDXDXD

Answer #16

i have to say i belive that you have it all wrong read your bible …

Answer #17

Reading a book doesn’t prove the book.

Answer #18

Answer #19

he would have walked like anyone else. he didnt show off his ‘powers’ or w.e.

Answer #20

Walk, I agree

Answer #21

Jesus walked he choose to to empty himself of divine abilities this was called kenosis.

Answer #22

I wholy agree

Answer #23

Not so fast , their are non Jewish writings of time of Jesus that without a doubt confirm he in fact walked the earth. Their is no dispute among scholars weather he in fact existed, but rather if he was God incarnate. Read Josephus (google the name) he a well respected Roman writer of that time period and writes of the accounts of Jesus.

Answer #24

Msm-The Bible is not proof of anything. I’m not saying that the Bible is false, but what I am saying is that it cannot prove the existence of Jesus Christ because it has no scientific evidence to follow along with it.

Answer #25

I agree

Answer #26

the criteria for the letters that make up the new testament that they must have been written witten with in 100 years of jesus crucifixion. the reason being they wanted eye witnesses to the events. Just a interesting point.

Answer #27

You guys obviously don’t understand the whole concept of Jesus…I think. I mean, he only walked on water ONE time. It’s not like he did it everywhere He went.

Answer #28

He would have done whatever was required. If God needed Him to float into the air as He did when Jesus ascended into heaven for certain people to see and believe, He’d float. If more import was in the fact that He walked through the wilderness for forty days and nights to overcome human weakness, then He walked. If God needed Jesus to turn water into wine….He is Gods’ Son. What would you do?
