What happens after first Jehova's Witness door-to-door visit?

Had a Jehovas Witness show up early this morning - was too tired to be rude so I listened to him read a verse from a Bible. He then gave me two Watchtower magazines and left. He never stated he was a Jehovas Witness, but the magazines make this fact clear.

Since I didn’t clearly reject him, what can I expect next? I have no interest in this religion.

Easiest way to get rid of them permanently is to tell them that you are active member in a large Christian church community. Then they usually give up trying to convert you.

If you want to have fun, you can research about their faith and then start discussing life, universe and everything with them. But you have to be careful and not believe a word they say. Those folks are usually brainwashed. You can tell them that according to their own faith, only 144,000 people will ever go to heaven and thus, the place is full since 1918 (because more than that number of their people had died up to then). So you can tell them that neither they nor anyone they ever convert could possibly be saved, and that all people who live on the earth today will perish and are lost souls. http://funadvice.com/r/15cjfchns1b

So you tell them, you rather stay with you own religion because there you at least have a chance to go to heaven if you behave well.

I had a jehovas witness come up to our front door once, I saw them coming up the drive so I went and put some body lotion in my hand and answered the door and went to shake his hand and was like oops I forgot to wipe that off, they turned around and left, it was brilliant!

Whenever a JW comes to my door, I quickly tell them that I’m willing to listen to their religious views, only if they are willing to listen to mine. Many actually ask what my religious views are, and when I tell them I’m Buddhist, they almost seem afraid, lol. They never come back, though.
