Why would Jackie Kennedy reach for a piece of John Kennedy's Brain?

On the Zapruder film she is shown Reaching back on the trunk for a piece of brain or something. Is that a normal reaction? Do you see how quick she reacted? That is what I always thought was weird about it all.

Your husband has just been shot in the head and a piece of his body flew off….why would you not try and recover it. Thats a completely normal reactionn…especially in a state of shock.

I would imagine it would be a impulsive reaction….it’s not like it would be recognizable as brain matter….and keep in mind all this happened in a fraction of a second….there was no time to think things thru…

hmm, I dont think it was a piece of brain as you are suggesting…her husband had just gotten shot & it may have been a piece of the bullet fragment…she may have tried to get it as evidence…but we werent there & dont really know what she did there…only she does…yet was never even a suspect! So why are we speculating now??? For all we know it could have been anything but she definitely wanted to keep it hidden& quiet until this footage! Should raise a few brown on that idea!

I have been under fire, your first reaction is always self prrservation. and the protection of others. Name one person on a battlefield who cared at all of recovering skull fragments while the bullrts were flying. It just always seemed weird to me.
