its hard to stay different

everywhere down town I see those girls that all dress the same and act the same, and they are always the ones getting boyfriends. but when it comes to not dressing the same, noone gives you a second look. and at 14, everyone says “just be yourself” well its getting hard to stay different! any advice?

okay, personally I love people who are different the whole looking like everybody else is boring with a capital B! being different is what makes you, you. some people like different and those people are the people who you can probably depend on most. just do what you want to do, screw everybody else if they say something about the way you look, just tell them hey thanks I think my outfits pretty rockin’ too. if you act like it doesn’t bother you, then they’ll stop.and who knows maybe you’ll start something.

I know exactly how you feel but I am sixteen and I learned right when I turned 14 that it’s time to change myself and I did I became one girl that makes everyone laugh and all the guys get kicks out of it and that is how I meet guys but some older people tell you to be yourself so nothing happens to you while your young.I mean I would say the same things cause I regret half the things I have done but I am giving you the truth. in a way you have to be yourself but then you also want to show off a sexy side if you know what I mean.
