only way to tell would be to go to your GP - I have heard many horror stories of piercings going wrong, especially ones that affect your mouth.

it’ll be uncomfortable anyways if you have only has it done recently, but if you are worried, then don’t leave it til the last minute, get it checked out ASAP

mine didn’t do that. but everyone is different. I advise that you don’t touch it. seriuosly. just keep it very clean. and rince with mouth wash and take ibprofen for the swelling. give it a couple of days. its still healing. the hole in the inside of your mouth will take longer then the hole on the outside. just don’t take it out if you really want it. cause the whole on the inside will close up instantly and you will have to repeirce it and then the whole process will have to start over. peircing your body is just like a wound. your body will try to reject it and all kinds of stuff. then finally it will form the tube around the peircing and that will be your hole.! good luck

It’s normal for it to feel like it’s digging in at first, and to be uncomfortable because of the swelling. Your skin and gums are swollen, so it’s taking up more room than normal. When the swelling goes down, it should be more comfortable. It’s only been two days, give it time.

Keep your hands off of it, clean it every other hour or every time you eat also.
