Is this abuse? How can I make it stop?
My dad hits me… My parenst don’t allowme to go out at night I’m 17 now.. We just moved from our home country and we’re going back now but my paretns are not even allowing me to go out wiht my friends or any thing they’re not even letting me spend the night at people’s houses… And the thing is that.. I’m almost going to be off to uni any they shud understadn that I will be doing all these things there any way.. Well heres the catch, the country I am going to is in war almost completley!! I am a really good girl I study hard and do really well in my studies!!!
it doesnt matter if its for discipline or not…if a grown man hits his daughter or any otehr being, its abuse…weather or not your mother knows it, or your dad doesnt “mean to”
Ok I agree with punkrocker4ever, if it’s discipline then it’s not considered abuse, but if it’s like what they he/she said earlier, if it’s out of the blue or it’s because someone’s making him angry and he takes it out on you then it’s abuse, you need to tell your mom and if she doesn’t do anything about it then you need to call CPS and have them deal with it.
does he hit you often or is it just discipline? if it’s just discipline, then it’s not. but if he does it for no particular reason, in an out of the blue way, then it’s abuse. if you find out it’s abuse, please let me know. I’ve got connections that could probably help you. DON’T GIVE UP HOPE! HANG IN THERE!
