Is my brother in iraq ok?

well my brother is in the army too and whene he went to irac he had a laptop and we im’ed each other and wrote letter’s to each other maybe you should ask your mom or somone for his address.

My husband is in Iraq as well and I can tell you that if something were wrong and it had been even a week since you heard anything from the you would know by now. If a loved one is hurt over there the military has to notify next of kin. To my knowledge it isnt a long wate it is usually within a day or two. Right now being that there is an increase in activity there there are a lot of reasons he hasnt made contact. He could be on missions or not able to make contact due to blackouts. That happens really often. My advice would be to ask your parents or if he is married ask his wife because if something were wrong they would have heard. I do hope all is well with your brother and please thank him for the job he does.

I’m in Iraq right now and I’m actually typing on a government computer. If he hasn’t contacted you, it is because it is depressing to call home and sometimes you get a job to where you don’t have that much time to get on computers or call home but once a month or so.

It depends where he is stationed at in Iraq that determines how much he is getting attacked but it is not as near as bad as it use to be so if he has not told you anything about how bad it is there, then you don’t really have anything to worry about.
