Is it safe to lose 6 pounds in less then a month?

So is it ok that I lost like 6 pounds in a little less then a month? So for the the past month I have been watching what I ate.( like no junk or fast food ) only drank water. And now I’m starting to walk every day. Also I’m kind of on the special k diet.. I just want to no if that much weight is ok to loose in less then a month?

Yes 6lbs a month is fine to lose as long as you are not currently underweight and that it would not put you underweight.

It all depends on how much you weigh to begin with compared to what you should weigh and whether you continue to get enough of the nutrients that your body needs.

no 6 pounds is completely healthy even up to 10 pounds in an entire month is healthy so what your doing must be good and congrats!

That’s fine as long as you weren’t tiny to begin with. Then there might be a problem. But from what it sounds like, you’ve simply been eating better and exercising, which is great for anyone. So 6 pounds is definitely fine to lose.

it depends on your current weight age and height if you dont have muych to losse to begin with and you then it would be dangerouse and you could even stop getting your period, as well as other problems but if you are a bit over your bmi or something the it should be fine
