Is it possible for me to get a job if I hate school?

I do well in school but I don’t like it at all. Not a single subject. So how can I have a career? Because people say that you should pursue what you love to do in a career to make life most enjoyable but things that I do enjoy such as sports or acting can’t be depended on as a full-time job. I would like a more secure job but that would require me doing something I don’t really like. What are your thoughts on all that?

Answer #1

You should at least finish high school to at least be certified with basic education. It will be important. After that you can try going for schools that interest you like acting school or getting yourself sponsored into a sport you like if you’re good, if you don’t want to go to college.

Most ‘fun’ jobs where people do it because they love it either don’t pay a lot or pay enough. Most of these people supplement these jobs with another job to keep them going. That’s the reality of it. Only a lucky few can create a job they love into a big money maker.

Answer #2

Many people go through the same thing. Unfortunately, the only thing to do to get a career you like is going to school. The only possible time that school is not necessary is if you’re born rich.

Answer #3

No-one’s going to hand you success for free - you have to earn it, then you’ll appreciate it.
