Infected piercing scar.

I had my belly button pierced twice… once on the top, and once on the bottom.

Two summers ago, someone accidentally hit the bottom one wrong, and it got infected and I ended up having to remove the jewelry. Now I have this big, pink bubble-looking thing covering the hole… my doctor said it was scar tissue.

How can I get rid of this scar? Would something like Mederma (the scar medicine) get rid of it?

Mederma works really well at reducing scars. Sometimes it’ll go completely away, just make sure if you really want it to work right you follow the directions. You can’t just use it a few times and expect for it to work over night. Hope that helps.
