I wouldn’t remove it on my own if I were you. I have it and thought it hurt pretty bad to get it implanted. My doctor called it a minor surgical procedure and she had to get certified in implanting it and removing it before she could offer it to her patients. If your insurance doesn’t cover the cost of removal then I would start saving money and have it taken out by someone who is certified and in a medical setting. You don’t want to cause any permanent damage.

I’ve had it for going on 2 years… and I hate it. the doc wants $1,000. to take it out… so I think im going to take it out myself… It seems easy… I went to the website for the implant and it clearly tells you how to do it and what you will need.
