Simply a Rose to brighten your day,         And maybe lessen the cares in your way;         And also, too, to help you to know,         That in knowing you, many others grow!

I don’t know the answer but here is some information on keloids and a website that is pretty informative.

Keloids?

Keloids are overgrowths of fibrous tissue or scars that can occur after an injury to the skin. These heavy scars are also called cheloid or hypertrophic scars. In individuals prone to keloids, even minor traumas to the skin, such as ear piercing, can cause keloids.

If you take the piercing out, chances are you will never get rid of the keloid. If you leave it in the keloid will gradualy go away on it’s own. When I got my tongue web pierced, I noticed keloids on either side of it about a week later. It took almost a year for them to go away completely, the more you play with it and the more it’s irritated the longer it’ll take to get rid of the keloids.

no they usually heal on there own, it just might take a week or a month or so for the body to heal it and dont take the peircing out if its been done recently and hasnt healed …otherwise yes…if youve had it in for over 3 months then it might be best to take it out
